Why is everyone is such a hurry to build an online business and have no understanding of the actual foundation for the business you are building. I see so many new online marketing people opting into a program, and first thing they do is scour the internet for things they can SPEND MONEY on to make the job easier. $50 here, $99 there and oh yes, there are those $30.00 a month charges as well.
If you have a marketing business that is making money then cool to invest in ways to improve your time management and productivity. If you are just starting, not so cool.. You need a foundation for your business that allows you to understand how the end customer thinks and reacts to your marketing efforts. You need to see what happens when you run an ad somewhere and the effect that ad has on your overall growth. If you toss that responsibility out to some program like something that would auto follow and build your Twitter following. You have learned nothing. More importantly you have spent precious investment money that could be used much wiser on other efforts of your business.
Think about starting a hot dog stand. You buy every auto feature you can to save you work, you get your supplies, and you have no idea how to interact with the people that come up to your stand. Selling hot dogs is about building relationships with customers that keep coming back.. Building an Online Marketing business is exactly the same thing.
Take some time and do it the old fashion way, get your Twitter followers and unfollow yourself. You will learn so much more about the things you need to do to understand and build a strong business. Most people get started in Online Marketing by being frustrated about a job, money etc and go out and look for something to fill a need. It is true that you can make some great money marketing online but it is just like any other business out there, it takes some planning and organization. It was planned out from the beginning and assembled in pieces with the thought in mind that when it was done they had something that served the overall purpose of the build out. The key here is planning your hub now so that you do not have to come back and redo all of your branding and marketing efforts to be organized for incredible Online Marketing Earnings. Start by finding a name you want to brand yourself with. It may even be your own name. The key is make sure your name is available in Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, etc ,, so that you can have an organized Hub that everyone knows how to find you. Make sure your email address aligns with your hub and by all means your web real estate needs to be inline with your Hub home as well.
By starting with this simple organization technique you not only position yourself to solve the problems you started this journey to resolve, you also establish your home and business front that in the future everyone will come to know as your home and hub. What Is The Best Way To Handle The Question “What Product Do You Sell ?”

After marketing for a year, I have finally decided that what I sell doesn’t really matter. Every time someone would ask me that question I would go into all kind of gyrations trying to make sure that I said just the right thing. Was my conversation going to be too much money, was my description of the product going to help or hurt the conversation with my new perspective team member. Would I ask enough questions to understand the person on the other side of the call so that my response would be one that allowed them to feel good about what product I sell. Would they think the commissions were enough, too much, too little…. You get it what I am saying?
The the light bulb came on,, Thanks to Juan Walker who told me, “Charlie, just talk about you” .. So my entire game changed as I began to talk about Charlie, his life, his experiences, his goals, his interests !! And an amazing development has taken place. My video’s on my landing pages follow this plan… My content on my landing pages follow this plan, my conversations on the phone follow this plan.. And you know what? People are starting to follow Charlie Montgomery because of me, not my product..
People want and need leadership and when you position yourself as the most important product you are selling to them they will all of a sudden get excited to be talking to someone that is a leader and wants to help like people get involved in their efforts.. Remember, you are your greatest product and people will spend more for you than any other offer you have.. Being an internet marketing wizard can be very demanding. I have found that it is entirely possible to fill every second of a 24 hour day with things to do that will make your online business stronger and more productive than it was the day before. I can also tell you that if you try and do it all you will burn out and your efforts will create more negative results than positive. No matter what has to be done today, I am watching golf. I come up with some of my best ideas when I am away from the computer and just working on me. There is no way you can do everything, every day. If you start the day making sure your priorities are in order, you stand a great chance of getting the mission critical elements taken care of and then working on you, you most important employee in your business. Time away from the business can have just as much value as time working at the business. Try it….. I promise you will be more productive when you return !

Learning the skills to write ad-copy, work with Google, learn about SEO, and communicating with potential team members is over shadowed by the time you need to have the internet world get to know you. Think about it, do you know of any new business that starts up and from day one they are an instant success? As a Online Marketing Mentor, I have learned that there are two kinds of people that I deal with.. There are those that want improvements in their life and are willing to do what it takes and there are those that want improvements in their life but are afraid to fail thus not take a chance. Sometimes people start out afraid of failing and then realize they do have what it takes. These type of people are very rewarding to mentor. Someone that knows what they want and are willing to do what it takes is a totally different joy for anyone that mentors people. When you can take a winner and provide some direction around the race track it is incredible to see what people can accomplish. When you have to keep kicking them to be a winner it is a drain for everyone involved. Bottom line, if you want to change your life, first and foremost do a gut check and validate you are willing to do what it takes. If you think you want to change your life but are OK with where you are now,, congratulations, you are OK with your day to day but you are destined to fail at Online Marketing.
